The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction within the International Baccalaureate framework while contributing to the wider life of the school community.

✅The ideal candidate will have:

• A university degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• The Official Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education (MAES), CAP, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Native level of English (C2 or above).
• Spanish will be highly valued. 
• Previous teaching experience in Secondary Education, ideally within an international or bilingual environment.
• Experience teaching or familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP) will be highly valued.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
• The ability to inspire students and promote critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.

📌Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics to students within the MYP and DP programmes, delivering engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
• Plan and implement learning experiences that promote mathematical understanding, inquiry, and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with school and IB assessment practices.
• Support students in achieving their academic potential through high expectations and effective guidance.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide activities.
• Maintain effective communication with students, families, and staff.
• Participate actively in school meetings, events, pastoral responsibilities, and professional development activities.
