✅The ideal candidate will have:
- A university degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- The Official Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education (MAES), CAP, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Native level of English (C2 or above).
- Spanish will be highly valued.
- Previous teaching experience in Secondary Education, ideally within an international or bilingual environment.
- Experience teaching or familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and/or Diploma Programme (DP) will be highly valued.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Mathematics.
- The ability to inspire students and promote critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and families.
📌Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students within the MYP and DP programmes, delivering engaging, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
- Plan and implement learning experiences that promote mathematical understanding, inquiry, and critical thinking.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback in line with school and IB assessment practices.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential through high expectations and effective guidance.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide activities.
- Maintain effective communication with students, families, and staff.
- Participate actively in school meetings, events, pastoral responsibilities, and professional development activities.
